Mel De Guia defended Sheryn Regis from a basher who compared Sheryn with Morissette Amon and who also said that it was because of Mori that her song became popular.
The basher even insinuated that Sheryn earned much again because of the revival of Morissette of the song because Sheryn allegedly was not able to make the song popular.
"Hindi nga niya napasikat ang kanta niya at pati ang career niya eh down n din!"
Mel, who is the partner of Sheryn, immediately came to the defense of the singer.
She said that the basher obviously does not know what really happened and does not know the industry.
The partner of Sheryn then said that the song was released in October 2021 then two months after, it was decided to make it the theme song of "The Broken Marriage Vow" and let Mori sing it.
It was also supposed to be the comeback of Sheryn but she respected the decision of Star Music.
At the end of a lengthy post, she told the basher to stop comparing and called out the fans of Mori as being very toxic.
"Kung kaharap ko lang ulit si Morissette ngayon sasabihin ko ang totoxic ng fans niya."
