Artist Turns Male Superheroes Into Pin-Up Models, And They’re As Sassy As They Come

David Talaski-Brown is an artist from Portland, Oregon, and he’s a loving husband and a father of a chihuahua dog.
He told Bored Panda that he’s been drawing and sculpting on MS Paint for as long as he can remember, and he was a part of an animation program at the Art Institute of Portland. He mainly focuses on 2D animation, and he now makes art for video games.

One of his most prominent personal projects is an illustration series in which he turns male superheroes into classic pinup models. Yes, you read that right – the kind of pinup models that used to pop-up on wallpapers and calendars through the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.

David told Bored Panda that he and his husband were a lot into comics and superhero movies when they first started dating, so they’ve become a very significant part of their relationship. He started developing the series 2 years ago, and the rest is history. He added that what he loves about vintage pinup is that it walks the line between comedy and passion, and it’s hot enough to make you blush, and ridiculous enough to not take it seriously – “basically, the kind of stuff you can hang on your walls and still have mom over”.

Check out his popular series below, and we believe you’ll love it just as much as we do!
