Photos from the wake of Mae Fatima Tagactac, the Grade 12 student who was found lifeless at a loding house in Toledo City were shared by Brigada News FM Toledo.
The coffin of the Mae was a simple white coffin, and flowers were laid on top of it.
One photo showed her father, who was still in a deep state of mourning, hugging the coffin of the slain girl.
Mae's last companion was 43-year-old Lorben Larot, who is still at large.
The body of Mae was found lifeless, gagged, bound and wrapped in a blanket in a room at a lodging house in Toledo.
According to reports, the girl asked permission to go with her classmates for dance practice.
